What is WELL?
The WELL Building Standard (WELL), developed by the International WELL Building Institute, is a performance-based system that protects and enhances the health and well being of the people who live, work and go to school indoors in facilities such as schools, hospitals, residential or commercial buildings. Building and designing spaces that are WELL compliant can help create an environment that improves the nutrition, fitness, mood and sleep patterns of its people.
A bonus: companies who have taken the leap are already seeing higher levels of ROI based on reduced number of sick leave and attrition.

Type of Facilities
Any residential or commercial facility can earn their WELL certification. This includes sports and entertainment venues, movie theaters, hotels and resorts, restaurants, offices, schools, universities, retail spaces, multifamily dwellings and industrial facilities, to name a few.
Pandemic Preparation
An added benefit of becoming a WELL Certified establishment is that its research-based solutions to fight pandemics such as COVID19 are part of the standards we help you implement. After the emergence of Covid19, WELL created a task force that established the Health and Safety Rating to specifically help prepare facilities. Those that meet these guidelines get a WELL safety seal on their door - and surely some peace of mind.
Obtaining a WELL accreditation will play a huge role in the new post-Covid19 reality, no doubt, as consumers choose where to sleep, eat, shop, live and work. The Journey to WELL Certification |
